Kurt is a passionate wealth management professional with 15 years of investment management experience. Kurt graduated from Brock University in 2006 with an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration (concentration in finance) degree.

Upon graduation, Kurt entered into the financial services industry as a day trader and then moved to a discount brokerage desk with one of Canada’s leading financial institutions. Kurt left Toronto in 2009 to move to Ottawa where he was an IIROC registered full service advisor with one of Canada’s leading independent asset management companies. During the six years he was at the firm, Kurt completed his CFA (2013), and in June 2015, he began building a personal wealth management practice at Raymond James.

Kurt’s primary investment philosophy is based on the value-investing school of thought. He actively researches and looks for investment ideas that can be purchased at significant discounts to calculated intrinsic value.
